LANCE CLELAND, President/CEO

Rise Builders LLC is owned by Lance Cleland. He started building 30 years ago as a licensed builder in Indiana and southwest Michigan.  He has built over 600 homes over the course of his career.  He lives in Noblesville and has been married to his wife, Lorri, for 23 years.  The company name, RISE, is inspired by the first letters of the names of his four children.  The word "rise" also describes the construction process as we erect a building from the ground up.  With intention, "Rise" is symbolic in faith and life.  Lance not only handles all of the business aspects of the company, but is also very involved in every level of communication and overall project management.  Lance has a reputation for helping clients to create a plan for their home that meets their unique budget.  Lance always says he "loves to work," and is often accessible around the clock.  This not only speaks to his enjoyment of his job, but also to his level of dedication.  Anyone who knows him will also see that his greatest joy is spending time with and traveling with his family.     

Dave Armstrong, VP Construction

Dave runs the nuts and bolts of the constuction.  He began building homes with Lance in northern Indiana many years ago.  Lance recruited Dave to move to Westfield to help jumpstart Rise.  This duo has built over 400 homes together.  Dave brings lots of experience to his project management role and his motto is "No problems, only solutions."  Dave manages all of the contractors and keeps everything moving and on track.  Dave can handle anything that is thrown at him with ease.  While on the Rise team, he has spearheaded specialty constuction such as building an elevator, coordinating pool installations, geothermal systems, and incorporating Tesla solar roofing panels.  Dave is a proud father of 3 adult children and is an incredibly valued member of the RIse team. 

Brianne Bentley, VP Design

Brianne is married with 3 children and lives in Noblesville.  Brianne had been doing design work as a creative outlet and a means of loving on friends and family for as long as she can remember.  Once she finally "put it out there" that she was available to do side jobs, she's been busy ever since.  Lance had seen a post about Brianne's work on the Nextdoor app, asked her for an interview, and the rest is history.  After working in private practice for many years in the field of social work, at the age of 40, Brianne took a leap and made a career change to pursue her passion for design full time.  Working for Rise Builders for the past 2 years has provided opportunities for on the job growth in all aspects of design, and so much more.  Brianne oversees all elements of the design from the outside in, making selections for spec homes and guiding clients through each step of their selection process.  She faciliatates communication with home owners, vendors, and installers.  She brings the energy, heart, and attention to detail to every project as if it were her own home.  Brianne will ensure that your results are thoughtfully functional and recognizably custom.  In addtion, her establishment of Bentley Home Designs, LLC has been a dream realized as she helps clients take the interior of their home to the next level.
